Creo dance company

Creo is a contemporary dance company based in Athens, Greece and was initiated in 2008 by the choreographer Polina Kremasta. Creo is part of Reon Non-profit artistic company (Artistic director Orestis Tatsis). Since 2008 Creo has presented eight dance performances, with participations in Greek and International Dance Festivals (Insoliti International dance festival, Turin, Italy/ International dance Festival “La Becquée”, Brest, France / Sarajevo Winter International Festival, Bosnia and Herzegovina / Dance Festival of the Association of Greek Choreographers / 20^th and 23^rd Kalamata International Dance Festival / Tipperary Dance Platform, Ireland / Akropoditi International Dance Festival, Syros / Dance Days International Dance Festival, Crete, etc.). The company was granted First Prize at the Sarajevo International Festival 2012 and received government funding in the years 2009-2010 and 2017-2020. It has also organized workshops and educational programs as well as projects in public spaces. Polina was the creator and founder of the educational and choreographic program for dancers and pupils of Public schools “Skytali”, which is approved by the Hellenic Ministry of Education and the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP). Moreover, it has been emerged between the 25 most inspired educational programs in Europe by the European Dancehouse Network (EDN). Since 2014 choreographer Polina Kremasta conducts the kinetic-dance research “Apogeos” that is under the Auspices and the support of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture.
